I made progress on my bathroom, but can’t check some things off my list because they are only half done. One of these things is the paint. I’ve done two coats, but the lime green is still bleeding through, so I think it may be a couple more.
And my door is on, but first I forgot to inset the hinges, and then it was still a bit too wide. It has been shaved down quite a bit by a friend, but the hinges aren’t as solid as they could be because it is screwed into a hollow steel frame. I have rivets coming to hopefully remedy that.
Right now, we are having a lot of warm days in Ottawa, and the tiny room is a bit hot to be in for too long at a time. We’re supposed to get a break in the heat this weekend. I’m aiming to finish the painting then and the sink as well.
I have a plumber coming soon to fix the leaky tap, but at least the door has turned the volume down on that.

I feel like once I get passed this bathroom stuff, it’ll be a lot easier to get back to my writing and exercising. I’m looking forward to what the summer brings!
