Monday again began with pain. My right hand hurt all day. We had an ice storm on the weekend and it’s really just been awful for anyone with chronic pain.

On Tuesday, I visited the learner curling folks for a bit. It was the last day of the program. I cleaned out my locker then went home. I just didn’t love curling enough for how much it hurt me on the regular. The visit felt cathartic. I think people thought I abandoned them, but I just didn’t see the point in going because I pulled a muscle every time from all the standing around waiting to play.
I watched the Montreal Victoire lose to the New York Sirens. It was a surprise to us all, but New York managed to keep all the best players on Montreal from scoring.
With everything else, I forgot that I would be without water for much of Wednesday. I hoped it would be on the lower end of the timeframe the property team told us. It was 5 hours instead of a possible 8, so I guess it worked out. Still, 5 hours without more water than I had in my bottle to drink was tough.
The rest of the week was fairly uneventful. I lost the election for secretary at softball, but I’m good with this. I have a lot of other things going on in life right now and I’ve added Tuesday karate assuming it actually runs. I’ll be starting fresh, after a long time away, with Goju Ryu at one of the city fitness complexes. I just can’t workout with my home like this, so I needed something to get me back in the shape I want to be in. It’s the adult beginner level and it was quite reasonably priced.
I briefly entertained the idea of going out on Saturday, but the weather was awful, so I played Stardew Valley instead.
Sunday’s Pathfinder session had us select some new feats and I exchanged a crappy spell for a better one. We rested, so I could have spell slots filled up, then we went after the big bad necromancer. We couldn’t finish the battle before it was time to go home. The cat tried to make the dice tray his bed for a bit and that was funny.
