2025 – Q3 Quarterly Update

Unfortunately, I have had to forgoe many things in Q3 and don’t expect to get back to them until next year as the kitchen renovation has been taking a lot of time along with just surviving. Hopefully, I will be beyond this soon and I’ll at least get some more reading, writing, and crafting done.

Arts & Crafts: I didn’t do much of this during the third quarter of the year. It’s often too warm to knit and I couldn’t focus on fun projects while dealing with my kitchen situation.

Decluttering & Minimalism: I threw out a lot of junk and brought a lot of items to donation over the quarter.

DIY & Projects: The kitchen renovation took up a lot of this quarter with many obstacles preventing completion. It may seem ridiculous to spend months on this, but it wasn’t planned, so wasn’t budgeted for ahead of time. Additionally, I live alone, work full-time, and have a busy life. There were many days during the summer that were too hot for heavy labour even with air conditioning.

Health & Fitness: I made some changes in what I was doing because I wasn’t enjoying myself. I also cut out some unhealthy things and people.

Music & Songwriting: I began learning to play the bass guitar. It was something I had wanted to do for a long time that I finally got going on. I expect it will take a long time to get good at it.

Reading & Writing: I began writing down a story I’ve had in my head forever. I won’t let it derail Sparker.
