Well, this week began strangely. Someone knocked on my door wanting to see my unit. It was apparently up for sale, unbeknownst to me. I was not happy, but 3 hours later, the typo was corrected. A stress increase and time loss that I really didn’t need, but that’s life sometimes. Condo life can be extra silly on occasion.
By Wednesday, I still wasn’t as close to my kitchen counter goal as I wanted to be.
On Thursday, I requested a parking space change. Why? They moved the guy with the truck right across from me. The guy I wanted to be nowhere near. And that part of the lot is so cramped, I can’t get out of my space if anyone beside him is in their space. This guy also doesn’t do any snow removal. The only way I’m surviving is backing in. But then the people on either side park so dumbly sometimes that it’s hard to get in and out of my vehicle at all. If I insure myself, I’m unlikely to be able to get my car in and out at all. And the car beside me is right near the curb, so it’s just an annoying situation. I’m closer to the building, but I’m in a different crappy situation than I was before. I miss my old spot at this point.
Friday held wheelchair basketball at school. It was so much fun! More on that on my Kofi blog.
I relaxed some on Saturday, but I got another assignment done and handed in before I voted in the advance polls. Whenever possible, I vote early because the lines are shorter and I can usually fit it in more easily. I visited St. Laurent Mall on my way home for some lunch fries.

On Sunday, I did some chores and looked ahead to planning which panels to attend at Can-Con later this month. I was waiting on a delivery as I ordered a piece of furniture awhile back. I’m converting my mattress to a bifold and it was a futon frame that was being delivered. This will reclaim a lot of space in my bedroom, but still allow for “sleepovers.” They had originally booked me in for Saturday, but had too many deliveries to do and I got bumped to Sunday afternoon.
I’m getting a lot of Russian spam through my contact page lately for some reason. I just keep marking them as spam at this point. I have zero interest in whatever they are trying to sell. School has been quite heavy, so there wasn’t much writing outside of the blog this week.
I’m truly sorry it has taken so long to get this one out. There has been a lot to do this week.
Catch you on the flip side,
Rae
