2026 – Week 29

By Monday, my ear was still blocked and I was still coughing due to the post nasal drip. My abdomen felt great though. I’ll have to keep sugar to a minimum in the future because I feel way better without it.

I’m truly enjoying World of Warcraft Classic. I’m playing an Undead Warlock and it’s really fun. In just a few days, I got my character to level 35.

On Monday, I began putting more flooring down in the kitchen in between the front of my large cupboard and my fridge. I figured it was high time to get some progress going. It was only six tiles, but that’s actually a large chunk of flooring. It did have me worrying I might run out before the floor was all done though.

After that, I focused on dinner and let it set.

I added more flooring on Tuesday and Wednesday including the metal strip that will let me complete the grouting.

The rest of the week was focused on getting ready to travel to see family for the first week of my vacation.

Before leaving, I took a couple of boxes to donation. Decluttering is going slowly, but I’m still working away at it.

Part of me couldn’t wait to get back home for my other week off, but North Bay does force me to relax, which I need because I’ve been dealing with burnout. Everything is changing soon though. More on that in a couple of weeks.

The trip there was a bit rainy, but I always enjoy the view. I actually had to pull over briefly because my wipers couldn’t keep up!

Catch you on the flip side,

Rae
